I have mastered several tricky computer skills here and am proud of my endurance

My site requires Netscape 4.0 or Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher

My site was created using Microsoft FrontPage 2000

The default font is Comic Sans MS 12 point

My pages are published on Fortune City, a free service for me and you get the advertisements

The bits and pieces I have collected and the  animated images I have used come from various sites in the public domain which label them as free to distribute. I have not given credit to these sources

My photos came from various sources:

some were taken with a Kodak DC290 Zoom Digital Camera

others I have scanned from my albums

and I have used some which have been e-mailed to me

Photo Deluxe v4 did the editing

I have used some of the pictorial jokes people send me - origin unknown

Special effects have come from several sources which are willing to share their java scripts and dhtml stuff

Sound files have proved difficult.  Ideally I wanted the files to work on page load.  If I get them to work in one browser, another browser will not handle them in the same way. Then Fortune City decided to ban certain file types and none of my aboriginal music is allowed.

The slideshow of churches was courtesy of Lynda who uses geocities as her web page provider. After a bit more ferreting around other sites, I have managed to find simpler versions which do the same job but download quicker for you to view
